The main material being used for production of diamond tools is diamond. The diamonds exist in 12 classes. They can be natural or synthetic, ground or not ground The main weight unit is carat. 

Size, type and quality of used grit have a crucial influence on the process of grinding treatment, therefore its proper selection has a decisive influence on achieved results.

 

 

Concentration defines the quantity of diamond grit in unit of okre¶la ilo¶ę ziarna diamentowego w jednostce of volume of working layer of wheel. Standard values of grit concentration in wheels are shown in the table:
